Blog Flash 2012: Day 3

3. Colour



She snatched her hand away but her cheeks betrayed an accent of pink. More mulberry, if one cared to know.
The reaction pleased him immensely.
“You shouldn’t speak so…”
“Honestly?”
“We both know better than that.”
“All I know, Alisa” -he stroked the column of her neck and a delicate line of pink unfolded on the skin where his skin met hers-“is the blush of your skin is the most valuable colour in my life.”
After a heavy pause, she loudly called for Reynolds. Footsteps approached and he felt a swallow roll down her throat before the contact was broken.
